Flood recovery efforts continue across Manitoba, with additional support being made available for residents affected by recent flooding.
Manitoba’s Transportation and Infrastructure Emergency Management Organization has partnered with the Canadian Red Cross to provide in-person recovery assistance in the Town of Swan River and the Municipality of Swan Valley West.
Residents will be able to get help submitting insurance claims, applying for Disaster Financial Assistance, and accessing recovery programs and services.
The province says details on when and where the support will be available will be announced in the coming days as recovery efforts continue in partnership with local, Indigenous and federal officials.
