YORKTON – A Melville man, accused of shooting two Mounties, has appeared in court again.
Markus Dodge, 55, was in Yorkton Provincial Court on July 24, where he was remanded in custody to Aug. 7.
On the evening of June 21, two RCMP members received a report of an assault at a home in Melville.
When they arrived, a firearm was discharged, both officers were struck, and they received serious injuries.
The suspect surrendered to police a few hours later.
