GOOD SPIRIT LAKE – Supporters of Good Spirit Bible Camp will have a chance to bid on a variety of donated items while helping raise funds for the camp during its Family Camp 3 Auction on Aug. 2.
The auction begins at 7:30 p.m. and is open to both Family Camp attendees and members of the public. Admission is free and no registration is required.
The event has become a popular Family Camp tradition, bringing together camp families, alumni and community supporters for an evening of fundraising and friendly competition. Proceeds from the auction help support camp operations and future projects.
The camp is currently accepting donations of auction items, which can be dropped off at the camp office before the event.
Located near Good Spirit Lake, the camp has served families and youth in the region since 1958. Camp officials say the organization has experienced substantial growth over the past decade, with both camper registrations and staffing levels more than doubling.
Good Spirit Bible Camp offers programs for children, youth, families and adults throughout the year and relies on donations, fundraising efforts and community support to help keep its programs running.
The auction will take place during Family Camp 3 activities over the August long weekend.
