The Swan Valley Stampeders continued to add to their roster for the 2026-27 Manitoba Junior Hockey League season, announcing the signing of forward Ryder Gibbs.
The 18-year-old from Flagstaff, Arizona joins the Stampeders after spending last season with the Phoenix Jr. Coyotes, where the six-foot-two, 190-pound forward recorded 14 goals and seven assists for 21 points in 49 games.
Meanwhile, the Stampeders are also looking to add to their off-ice staff.
The club has begun its search for a full-time athletic therapist and trainer for the upcoming season. The successful applicant will be responsible for player medical care at practices and games, injury management and rehabilitation, equipment maintenance, travel with the team, and assisting with team workouts and day-to-day operations.
