Another court appearance has been made by a Skownan First Nation man accused of stealing a taxi in Dauphin.
On the morning of Apr. 4, Dauphin RCMP were called when a taxi was allegedly stolen by a passenger who refused to pay his fare.
A short time later, the cab was spotted by Mounties in the the Dauphin RCMP parking lot, but it sped away when officers approached.
The taxi soon returned to the parking lot, and police boxed it in, leading to the arrest of 32-year-old Dalton Roussin, who faces multiple charges, including theft of a vehicle and flight from police.
Roussin appeared in Dauphin Provincial Court on July 28, and his case was adjourned to Aug. 11.
