Gerald’s Claire Norek delivered a personal-best performance on the international stage, finishing sixth in the women’s F57 shot put at the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
Representing Team Canada, Norek recorded a throw of 6.29 metres to set a new personal best in her Commonwealth Games debut.
Fellow Canadian Christel Robichaud also reached the podium hunt, finishing fourth with a personal-best throw of 6.69 metres.
