What a beautiful sunrise this morning!
A big thank you to Gerald from Roblin, who texted me on the GX94 Text Line, powered by Hancock Plumbing & Heating, and told me to take a look outside. I’m sure glad I did because it was truly something to see. The sky was filled with bright orange and beautiful blue colours, and for a few minutes, it felt like the whole world had slowed down.
Sometimes I think we don’t always truly appreciate where we live. We get so caught up in our busy days, rushing from one thing to the next, that we forget to stop and look around.
We really do live in the Land of the Living Skies.
Whether it’s a sunrise or sunset, bright colours stretching across the horizon, a summer storm rolling in, or the northern lights dancing across the night sky, there always seems to be something happening above us. Our skies have a way of putting on a show, and the best part is, it’s completely free.
This morning was one of those moments when I needed to slow down, take a breath and simply appreciate what I have. Sometimes it only takes a beautiful sunrise to remind you how lucky we are to call this place home.
So, thank you again, Gerald, for the reminder to look up. I might have missed one of those beautiful Prairie moments if you hadn’t sent that text.
I hope everyone has a great weekend. And don’t forget to slow down every once in a while and look up—you never know what kind of show the sky might be putting on.
