Update: At 5:07 p.m. CST, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado is located over Sunset Beach. This severe thunderstorm is moving east at 25 km/h. Destructive winds, damaging hail and flooding rainfall are possible.
Locations and nearby areas that could be impacted include: Crooked Lake Provincial Park, West End, Bird's Point
Update: At 4:51 p.m. CST, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado is located over Melville Beach. This severe thunderstorm is moving east at 25 km/h. Destructive winds, damaging hail and flooding rainfall are possible.
Locations and nearby areas that could be impacted include: West End, Bird's Point, Stockholm
Update: At 4:33 p.m. CST, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado is located over Melville Beach. This severe thunderstorm is moving east at 55 km/h. Destructive winds, damaging hail and flooding rainfall are possible.
Locations and nearby areas that could be impacted include: Crooked Lake Provincial Park, Dubuc.
Update: At 4:02 p.m. CST, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado is located over Neudorf. This severe thunderstorm is moving east at 50 km/h. Destructive winds, damaging hail and flooding rainfall are possible.
Environment Canada issues the following advice:
- Take cover immediately in a basement, interior room, or a sturdy shelter when threatening weather approaches.
- If no shelter is available, lie in a low spot and protect your head from flying debris.
- If you are out on the water when threatening weather approaches, return to shore and seek shelter, if possible, or move directly away from the path of the tornado.
- Otherwise, wear your lifejacket, lie face down and protect your head.

The thunderstorm is moving east at 50 km/h. Destructive winds, damaging hail and flooding rainfall are possible.

Environment Canada reminds the public that tornadoes can be wrapped in rain and may not be visible.
There are also thunderstorm warnings in the southeast. An upper-level disturbance is combining with an unstable airmass creating conditions favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms.
At 3:53 p.m. CST, a severe thunderstorm is located over Estevan. This severe thunderstorm is moving slowly to the northeast. Damaging wind gusts, up to quarter size hail and heavy rain are possible.
At 3:40 p.m. CST, a severe thunderstorm is located over Abernethy. This severe thunderstorm is moving east at 20 km/h. Damaging wind gusts, loonie to ping pong ball size hail and heavy rain are possible.
Environment Canada adds:
- Driving conditions may be difficult.
- Heavy rain can cause flash flooding and significant reductions to visibility.
- Strong wind gusts can damage trees, buildings and overturn vehicles.
