The Saskatchewan Roughriders added two players to their roster and cut two others on Monday.
They signed American defensive lineman Treven Ma’ae and American wide receiver Marcus Sanders Jr. Defensive back Millard Bradford III and receiver Vyshonne Janusas were released to make room for them.
The 6-foot-3, 291-pound Ma’ae signed with the NFL’s Las Vegas Raiders as an undrafted free agent earlier this year and spent training camp with the team.
Ma’ae played his junior and senior collegiate seasons at Baylor, suiting up in 25 games. He recorded 51 tackles, including seven tackles for a loss of 27 yards, four sacks, five quarterback hurries and two pass deflections.
The 6-foot-1, 190-pound Sanders signed with NFL’s Minnesota Vikings as an undrafted free agent in April. He attended training camp with the team, appearing in all three preseason games.
Sanders spent the previous four seasons at Georgia Southern, catching 85 passes for 1,217 yards and eight touchdowns in 46 games.
