It was our first stop selling the 2026 GX94 Christmas Goodies Cookbook, and you guys showed up in a BIG way. We sold out in just 30 minutes! I honestly can’t remember the last time we sold out that quickly. It’s definitely been a few years.
A huge thank you to everyone who came out to get a copy. We saw so many people buying multiple cookbooks, telling us they were Christmas gifts or perfect stocking stuffers. And we absolutely love hearing that.
One listener who had a really tough time making it to any of our cookbook sales last year made sure that wasn’t happening again. She was first in line this year and walked away with 12 cookbooks! Now THAT is commitment to Christmas baking!
We also had a lady stop by and tell us that her mom started buying her the cookbook years ago. Now the tables have turned, and she’s the one buying the cookbook for her mom. I love stories like that because it really shows how this cookbook has become part of people’s Christmas traditions.
And then there was my favourite thing of all — someone bought a cookbook and then handed us a handwritten recipe to add to the collection. Those are our absolute favourites… mine and Olivia’s! There’s just something about getting a recipe that someone has actually written out by hand. You know that recipe has a story behind it. And pictures of those recipes make it into the cookbook so everyone can enjoy the special, personal touch.
We also got to see so many familiar faces — people we see every single year at our cookbook sales. Some of them have been submitting recipes since the very beginning, 13 years ago!
Yep… this is the 13th edition of the GX94 Christmas Goodies Cookbook, and it’s also our biggest edition yet.
Thirteen years of recipes, Christmas traditions, family favourites and listeners sharing a little piece of their kitchens with all of us. It really is pretty special.
And if you missed us at the Legacy Co-op, don’t worry — there are many more chances to grab your copy!
