YORKTON, Sask. — The totals are in, and Legacy Co-op has surpassed the $90,000 mark for the annual Fuel Good Day campaign.
Fuel Good Day, which celebrates its 10-year anniversary in 2026, has supported 24 groups over its 10 years at Legacy Co-op. Those 24 groups have benefited from nearly $91,365 over the decade. In total, 2026 produced donations of $12,664 throughout the event day and Pump It Up donations.
On Sept. 15, at Legacy Co-op Yorkton Palliser Way, Yorkton West Broadway, Kamsack, Churchbridge and Theodore community members filled up their tanks, knowing 10 cents from every litre of fuel sold would go to support local causes. This year’s Fuel Good Day donations were dedicated to enhancing organizations within the region, which included the Theodore Heritage Centre, the Churchbridge Curling Club, Paws & Claws Animal Rescue and Parkland Victim Services.
