While the Saskatchewan Roughriders came up short against the Montreal Alouettes on Thanksgiving , there were some amazing moments. We need Rider Nation to help to pick which one was Play of the Week.
1 – Early in the first quarter, Montreal QB Davis Alexander heaves it down field to receiver Tyler Snead. 5'8" defensive back Marcus Sayles goes full vertical and snags the ball. Not only did he intercept the pass, he prevented an almost guaranteed TD for the Als.
2 – As the first quarter ran out, receiver Kian Schaffer-Baker hauled in a laser-beam Trevor Harris pass for Schaffer-Baker's seventh TD of the year. (And as Voice of The Riders Dave Thomas describes next, Schaffer-Baker then "ran into the goal post. But it don't matter, that was the only thing that was going to stop him!")
3 – As debate over the CFL's Most Outstanding Player heats up, Davis Alexander once again shows off his incredible athleticism, evading Riders' tackles and getting off an incredible pass mid-clutch to running-back Stevie Scott III for an unbelievable first down.
