The Ag Transport Coalition reports system order fulfillment performance improved slightly once again last week with CN and CPKC Rail combined supplying 91% of shipper orders.
The improvement at the system level reflects the improvement seen in CPKC performance, while CN's performance declined last week.
System performance remains at 90% or better for a second consecutive week.
In supplying 82% of cars ordered by shippers in week 11, CN saw performance decline from the 86% order fulfillment performance seen in week 10.
CN performance remains below the 90% performance threshold for a fourth consecutive week, having now achieved that mark only once in the last three months.
Meanwhile, in supplying 99% of shipper orders last week, CPKC performance returned to near perfect form, improving on the 94% order fulfillment performance seen the prior week.
CPKC performance remains at 90% or better for a fourth straight week.
