YORKTON, Sask. — An RM of Cote man arrested in connection with an assault investigation and a subsequent search warrant has appeared in court again.
The matters involving 50-year-old Trevor Chernoff were before Yorkton Provincial Court on Oct. 29, where they were adjourned for trial in Kamsack on Nov. 24.
On Oct. 9, 2025, Kamsack RCMP received a report of an assault at a home in the RM of Cote.
The next day, officers searched the home and seized 10 firearms, hundreds of rounds of ammunition, quantities of suspected drugs and other drug paraphernalia.
