The Melville Millionaires are adding some experience to their blue line while also picking up a younger forward prospect in a deal with the Nipawin Hawks.
Melville has acquired 20-year-old defenceman Mason Eggen and the SJHL rights to 2009-born forward Maxim Cooper from Nipawin in exchange for 19-year-old forward Leo Jewitt.

Cooper, a 2009-born forward currently has five goals, 14 assists for 19 points in 13 games this season with the Prince Albert Mintos of the Saskatchewan Under-18 AAA Hockey league.
Heading to Nipawin is Jewitt, a 19-year-old centre from Katepwa Beach, Saskatchewan appeared in 61 career SJHL games with the Mils, collecting 11 goals and seven assists for 18 points. This season, Jewitt had two goals and three assists in 12 games with Melville.
