The Saskatchewan Roughriders have signed American linebacker Ja’Kobe Clinton.
The 6-foot-2, 230-pound defender joined the Riders as part of the expanded practice roster in September 2026 and finished the season with the team.
The 25-year-old spent training camp with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, registering one sack, two defensive tackles and one on special teams in two preseason games.
Clinton spent the previous two collegiate seasons at the University of West Florida. The Florida-born linebacker began his collegiate career at Southeastern University.
