2022 draft pick Ashton Cure had 1G 1A while Michael O’Sullivan & Connor Hatfield combined for a 20 save shutout to lead the Swan Valley Stampeders to a 4-0 win over the Waywayseecappo Wolverines in the annual Rookie game in Swan River.
Callum Halls, Colin Kwak and Riley Fequet also scored for the Stampeders.
The two teams will meet once again meet on Monday night starting at 6PM MB time from the Russell Multiplex.
