Manitoba Lieutenant-Governor Anita Neville will deliver the throne speech on Tuesday, November 21st, to open the new session of the Legislature.
It will be the first throne speech for the new NDP government, elected on October 3rd.
Premier Wab Kinew says the government’s focus during the 43rd session of the Legislature will be on three main areas – ending chronic homelessness, affordability, and health care.
A new Speaker of the House will be elected ahead of the throne speech, next Thursday, November 9th.
