Another court appearance has been made by a Sioux Valley Dakota Nation man, charged with First Degree Murder.
20-year-old Ernie Blacksmith has been committed to stand trial in Brandon Court of King’s Bench, with his next appearance scheduled for December 11th.
Last November, Virden RCMP received a report of a disturbance at home on the Sioux Valley Dakota Nation.
They found a 30-year-old woman with serious injuries, and she was pronounced dead at the scene.
