A man arrested by Winnipegosis RCMP in connection with a double stabbing in Camperville, has been sentenced.
In Dauphin Court yesterday (Wed), 19-year-old Wilfred “J.J.” Chartrand received 729 days in jail going forward, and a ten-year weapon ban.
RCMP say in June of last year, a fight broke out between two groups of people outside a home, after a woman was robbed.
The incident left a 26-year-old man in critical condition in a Winnipeg hospital, and a 21-year-old man in stable condition.
