Manitoba’s Independent Investigation Unit is looking into the arrest of a man on the Birdtail Sioux First Nation.
Last Wednesday night, members of the Manitoba First Nations Police Service responded to a disturbance call.
Once they arrived on the scene, they were met with an aggressive man.
The suspect suffered facial injuries during his arrest, and was taken to hospital in Virden.
