Preeceville’s “Filling the Gap” receives donation from GX94’s “Christmas Goodies” cookbook

A one-thousand-dollar donation has been made to “Filling the Gap” in Preeceville, to help brighten the holidays for local families in need.

Chairperson Barb Biccum says the donation, provided through the proceeds from the sale of the GX94 “Christmas Goodies” cookbook, may be used in part, to buy a few toys for kids, but the majority of it will go toward putting together Christmas food hampers.

Biccum called the donation a “blessing,” noting “Filling the Gap” also serves families from surrounding communities such as Okla, Rockford, Endeavour, Stenen, Buchanan and Rama.
