Two Calgary residents charged in connection with the seizure of tobacco, drugs and cash near Moosomin, are off the hook.
Last December, an RCMP officer pulled over a vehicle heading west on the Number One Highway.
The officer determined the occupants of the vehicle may have been in possession of a controlled substance, and upon spotting unstamped tobacco, a search of the vehicle also turned up one ounce of cocaine and a large bundle of Canadian cash.
Charges against 37-year-old Kattie Hagan and 45-year-old Elroy Brooks were stayed by the Crown Prosecutor.
