A new court date has been set for two people charged after a November traffic stop in Dauphin last month led to drug charges.
26-year-old Dillon Lebel and 55-year-old Lorne McKinnon were back in court yesterday on numerous drug, weapon and stolen property charges, and will make their next appearance in Dauphin Court on February 13th.
On the afternoon of November 17th, Dauphin RCMP stopped a vehicle on Ninth Avenue Southeast, arresting the driver and passenger, who they say had been involved in an earlier theft.
Mounties searched the vehicle, and discovered weapons, ammunition, 90 grams of cocaine, a small quantity of methamphetamine, prescription drugs, and cash.
