Today, SaskTel announced that TelCare, the company’s employee-driven charitable donation program, contributed nearly $180,000 to 42 locally operated charities and non-profit organizations in 2023.
The Yorkton & District was a part of that process, donating $4,500 to three charities.
The charitable organizations selected were the Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan, Kidney Foundation of Canada/Saskatchewan Branch, and Soup Haven Lunch Program Inc.
TelCare is a volunteer organization of SaskTel employees who contribute donations through an automatic payroll deduction.
SaskTel donates 50 cents for every dollar each employee contributes.
