Three of four people charged in connection with a homicide on the Keeseekoose First Nation, have appeared in court again.
In Kamsack Tuesday, 20-year-old Edgar Kakakaway Junior of Keeseekoose was remanded in custody to February 6th on a charge of Second Degree Murder.
42-year-old Edgar Kakakaway Senior of Kamsack and 21-year-old Telesphore Wapash of Keeseekoose, are charged with Accessory After the Fact to Murder, and they were committed to stand trial in Yorkton Court of King’s Bench at a later date.
In November of 2022, Kamsack RCMP were called to the Keeseekoose First Nation, where a 16-year-old Cote First Nation boy was found dead at the scene.
