RCMP in The Pas continue to investigate a deadly stabbing in the community.
Just before 4 p.m. on Friday, police responded to a report of a serious stabbing incident on Edwards Avenue, and they found two seriously injured men at the scene.
One man – 41-year-old Eugene Michelle, of The Pas, died of his injuries, while the other victim, a 37-year-old man, is in a Winnipeg hospital in stable condition.
Three people are in custody, including two youths who cannot be identified due to their age – a 16-year-old boy charged with Second Degree Murder, and a 15-year-old girl charged with Manslaughter.
33-year-old Pierre Young of Easterville, is also charged with Manslaughter.
