A man charged following a pair of hit-and-run incidents in Regina that resulted in injuries, is off the hook.
35-year-old Jonas Bellegarde, of the Muscowpetung First Nation, was back in Regina Court Thursday, where the two charges against him – Dangerous Driving Causing Bodiiy Harm and Failure to Stop After an Accident – were withdrawn.
In December of 2021, Regina Police were called to a report of a hit-and-run involving a truck, then shortly after, a second collision was reported at a parking lot of a business.
Police determined the same vehicle was involved in both incidents.
