Suncrest College is launching a new option for its students.
Starting in the Fall of 2024, Suncrest College will offer students the opportunity to earn a University of Regina certificate in just one year.
The certificate they can earn is UofR’s Liberal Arts. These courses students take also count towards several other programs within the University.
Liberal Arts is a credential that introduces the student to various subjects.
Suncrest Chair, Secondary Education Malena Vroom says that having a one-year university option is great for anyone considering University but still deciding what career path they want.
She added that it is flexible for students juggling work, families and other academic responsibilities.
