A new development in the case of two men, who were arrested after the vehicle they were in, failed to slow down for an emergency vehicle near Yorkton.
33-year-old Dany Caron from Quebec, and 49-year-old Jason Palmer of Edmonton, have had the charges against them stayed by the Crown Prosecutor.
In January of 2023, Mounties pulled over a truck on Highway 16, west of Yorkton.
They saw drug paraphernalia in plain view, and a search of the vehicle turned up crystal meth, morphine, magic mushrooms, unstamped cannabis, unstamped cigarettes, and an open bottle of vodka.
