Another day, another province-wide strike for Saskatchewan Teachers.
Stewart Wilson, President of the Good Spirit Teachers Association, says teachers don’t want to strike but will do what is necessary to get the government’s attention.
He feels the strike has brought all teachers closer together as they fight for the future of education.
The two big sticking points for Teachers have been class size and support for high-needs students.
Today many teachers within the Parkland Region marched down Broadway in protest of the strike.

Over the past few weeks, the Saskatchewan Teachers Federation has withdrawn from volunteering for noon-hour supervision and extracurricular activities.
The consequence could be that the “Hoopla” High School Basketball Championships, scheduled to take place in Moose Jaw this week are cancelled.
