The preliminary investigation into a fire early Monday in The Pas has determined that it was the result of arson.
Around 4:40 a.m. yesterday, The RCMP responded to the report of a blaze at the Lido Theatre, on Edwards Avenue.
Upon arrival, Mounties saw smoke pouring from the building, and within a few hours, firefighters from The Pas and OCN were able to extinguish the flames.
There’s no word on any injuries or the value of the damage.
