An update in the case of a man charged in an alleged assault on the Standing Buffalo First Nation..
In June of 2021, Fort Qu’Appelle RCMP responded to a report of an injured woman at a home on the reserve, and she was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Last spring, 25-year-old Christopher Maple, of the Standing Buffalo First Nation, stood trial in Regina Court of King’s Bench on a charge of Attempted Murder.
On Friday, the matter was adjourned for decision to June 11.
