After months of negotiations, the Provincial Government announced that a tentative agreement with the Teachers’ Bargaining Committee has been reached.
Education Minister Jeremy Cockrill stated that various key matters were discussed in recent negotiations, including addressing the needs of students, families, and teachers across the province.
The news comes two days after 95% of teachers in the province voted for further job action next school year.
