Ste Rose RCMP arrested a woman for dangerous driving over the weekend.
Yesterday morning, around 9:20 AM, Mounties received a report that a septic truck was stolen from the Ebb and Flow First Nation and was last seen on Provincial Road 278.
Officers initiated a traffic stop at the intersection of 278 and Highway 68, but the truck did not stop.
The truck began driving erratically and veered into oncoming traffic lanes. Fortunately, no collisions occurred, and nobody sustained injuries.
Officers finally stopped the vehicle when they deployed a spike belt, forcing the truck into the ditch.
The driver exited the truck and fled on foot, but she was arrested following a brief chase.

The 29-year-old female from Dauphin was charged with Theft of a Motor vehicle, Flight from Police, and Dangerous Driving.
She was released from custody.
