A man who is accused of escaping from the Whitespruce Provincial Training Centre near Yorkton, has appeared in court.
43-year-old Trevor Mattiuz was in Yorkton today (Tue), and was remanded in custody to August 20.
Last Tuesday, Yorkton RCMP received a report that a man had failed to return to the facility when he was required to do so.
Mattiuz was arrested the next day in Gimli, Manitoba.
