The M-L-A for Riding Mountain has been found guilty of contravening Manitoba’s conflict of interest regulations.
However, the Ethics Commissioner has recommended that no penalty be imposed against Greg Nesbitt.
Nesbitt has an interest in Russell Inns Limited, and it has a contract with the Manitoba government.
But the Ethics Commissioner found Nesbitt has no role or voice in the company’s activities, and so he was unaware of the existence of the contract.
