Dauphin RCMP are investigating an attempted robbery that took place around 11:30 a.m. yesterday at a business on 1st Avenue NE.
According to police, a man entered the store, waited for other customers to leave, and then handed a note to the clerk claiming he had a bomb. The note demanded cash and warned the employee not to press the panic button.
The suspect ultimately left without any money and fled on foot. No injuries were reported. Officers patrolled the area but were unable to locate the suspect.
The suspect was last seen wearing a black face covering, a black hoodie, grey pants, and what appeared to be black Converse shoes.
