Court appearances have been made by two men, arrested in connection with an armed robbery on the Sapotaweyak (SAP-uh-TOY-ack) Cree Nation.
24-year-old Chandler Cook and 27-year-old Cheyenne Cook were in Swan River Provincial Court yesterday (Wed), where they were remanded in custody to March 19.
On November 2, Swan River RCMP responded to a report of a man who allegedly assaulted two men, and forced them to empty their pockets and turn over their cell phones at gunpoint.
Three people were later arrested in a vehicle at the gas station in Mafeking (MAF-uh-king).
