TERRIERS 2, KLIPPERS 3 (OT)
The Yorkton Terriers got a point on Wednesday night but they wrapped up their road-trip with a 3-2 shootout loss to the Kindersley Klippers.
The Klippers and Terriers exchanged goals in the 1st and 2nd periods respectively as Nathan Degraves got the Klippers on the board in the 1st before Erik Boers’ rebound goal knotted it up at 1-1 through 40 minutes.
In the 3rd, the Terriers grabbed their first lead with 6:23 to go in regualtion as Colby Vranai’s shot was deflected home by Zach McIntyre for his 12th of the season to make it 2-1.
But the Klippers tied it with 1:34 left as Josh Morton dumped it into the Terriers’ and it took a weird bounce off the end-boards and came right out in the slot and it was an easy tap-in for Tylin Hilbig for his 17th of the season to even it up at 2-2.
After overtime solved nothing, Andrew Schaab got the only goal in the shootout to lead his team to the extra point.
Matthew Pesenti was very good in the Klippers’ net making 51 saves on 53 shots for the win, while Terriers puckstopper Kael DePape stopped 36 shots in the loss.
The Terriers’ will return to action on Saturday night when they host the Melville Millionaires for their final regular season meeting of the season.

WOLVERINES 3, STAMPEDERS 2 (SO
The Waywayseecappo Wolverines got the shootout winner from Joey Moffatt as they beat the Swan Valley Stampeders 3-2 on the road on Wednesday.
Kolton Shindle scored both goals for the Wolverines, while Emile Pichette and Ethan Matchim replied for the Stamps.
Wolverines’ G Brett Mirwald made 19 stops to earn the win, while Stamps’ netminder Dylan Black made 36 saves.
The two teams will meet again on Friday night in Waywayseecappo. GX94 will broadcast the game, with the pregame show beginning at 7:20PM, and the play by play starting at 7:30PM from the Wayway Arena Complex.
