Three men charged in connection with a pair of incidents on neighbouring First Nations, that Carlyle Mounties say are linked, were back in court on Wednesday (16th).
On July 28th, police were called to investigate an alleged assault outside a business on the Pheasant Rump Nakota First Nation, that left a man seriously injured.
About an hour later, Mounties were notified that someone had discharged a firearm at a vehicle on the White Bear First Nation.
21-year-old Demetrius Standingready will return to Carlyle Court on March 9th, to face drug and weapon charges, while two trial dates for him have also been set – May 11th, on eight firearm charges, and on September 21st, when he will stand trial for Aggravated Assault.
22-year-old Justin Desjarlais will make his next appearance on March 9th, while 27-year-old Jordan Desjarlais will stand trial on September 21st, in Carlyle.
