Legacy Co-Op saw its best year financially in 81 years of operation.
In 2021, Legacy Co-Op saw sales top 110-million dollars with net earnings over 6-million dollars, leaving about 3.8-million dollars in equity and cash back to its members.
In a news release, general manager Bruce Thurston stated that the results showed the commitment of the company’s employees and the loyalty of its members.
Some changes are also coming to the Legacy Co-Op board, as the co-operative saw long time board member Gene Krepakevich step down after 42 years.
Legacy Co-Op also welcomed two new board members is Judy Charney and Dustin Brears.
