There’s a temporary disruption of emergency services at the Canora hospital.
The disruption took effect yesterday (Thurs) at 8 a.m. and will be over tomorrow (Sat) at 8 a.m.
An SHA spokesperson cited paramedic and nursing staff replacement challenges as the reason for it.
Residents are told to go to Yorkton, Kamsack, Preeceville or Melville for emergency services, but the ER’s in Kamsack and Preeceville have limited hours.
Kamsack’s ER is available Monday-Friday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Preeceville’s Monday-Friday 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
