A Bjorkdale man was back in court yesterday (THURS), facing numerous charges, in connection with the March 30th search of an Archerwill residence. Mounties found quantities of drugs, including LSD, crystal meth, OxyContin and other assorted pills, as well as cash, ammunition, and various weapons, including a taser, machete, and an illegally-modified firearm. 55-year-old Rudi Betthel, who also faces similar charges, stemming from the search of a Bjorkdale home earlier in March, had his matters adjourned for a bail hearing on November 17th, in Saskatoon. His co-accused, 38-year-old Holly Schweitzer, of Archerwill, stood trial earlier this month, on the drug charges against her, and the matter was adjourned for the judge’s decision on November 9th in Rose Valley, when she will be tried on the related weapon charges.
