An update regarding two men facing weapon charges, following their arrest in Regina earlier this year. On January 10th, two men were arrested, after cops pulled over a vehicle with two men inside, and noticed a firearm in plain view on the front seat, along with a large knife under a seat. One of the men also allegedly gave a fake name to police. 34-year-old Joshua Bird, of Kamloops, B.C., appeared in Regina Provincial Court yesterday (THURS), and was remanded in custody, to appear again next Wednesday. A warrant remains in effect for the other man charged, 22-year-old Walker Rennie, of the Punnichy district.
