Two people are in custody after the recovery of stolen property in the RM of Lakeshore.
On July 31st, Ste Rose RCMP responded to a suspicious vehicle stuck in the mud, and upon arrival, the two occupants fled on foot before being quickly apprehended.
It was then determined that the vehicle was stolen in Dauphin on July 25th, and a search turned drugs, several weapons including a replica handgun, and other stolen property.
33-year-old Jill Johnson of Winnipeg and 28-year-old Curtis Pruden of Dauphin were charged with Resisting Arrest and several weapon offences, and they were remanded in custody.
