The Saskatchewan Party held it’s silver anniversary this past weekend in Davidson. On August 8th, 1997, former Conservative leader Bill Boyd and Ken Krawetz, who was former Liberal opposition leader, announced the formation of the SaskParty. A decade later, and under the leadership of Brad Wall, it captured 38 seats to form its first government. The celebration featured appearances by former prime minister Stephen Harper, party founder Ken Krawetz and Premier Scott Moe.
