The SJHL’s Melville Millionaires completed a couple deals on Wednesday.
First the Millionaires trade 2003-born forward Ryland Maier (pictured above) to the Dryden IceDogs (SIJHL) for future considerations.
The Whitewood product had 3 goals, 6 assists for 9 points in 35 games during the 2021/22 SJHL season, after starting the year with the Fort Knox of the Prairie Junior Hockey League.
Then the Moneymen sent the SJHL list rights to 2002-born forward Keaton Sorensen to the Estevan Bruins for a 2023 4th round pick and a conditional draft choice.
Sorensen, a Red Deer native had 12 goals and 28 points in 65 games during the 2021/22 season with the WHL’s Prince Albert Raiders.
