SGI’s traffic safety spotlight in July was impaired driving, and 497 people were caught by police across the province. The insurance company’s Jeremy Pilon says that includes 292 drivers charged with Criminal Code offences. Last month also saw 581 people caught driving distracted, over 54 hundred for speeding and aggressive driving and 375 for seat restraint violations.
