An update regarding two Kipling area men facing drug charges. On June 9th, Regina Police responded to a report of an unresponsive driver and passenger in a parked vehicle, and took them into custody. After a search of the vehicle, officers uncovered a quantity of a substance believed to be methamphetamine and other illegal drugs, and drug-trafficking related paraphernalia. 51-year-old Charles Ealey of Corning, and 26-year-old Andrew Huzina of Kipling were each charged with Possession of Meth for the Purpose of Trafficking. Ealey appeared in Broadview Court yesterday, and was remanded in custody to October 5th, in Regina. On September 1st in Regina, Huzina pled guilty to a lesser charge of simple Possession, and was given one year of probation. An Impaired Driving charge against him was stayed by the Crown.
